Vincent Gradt has been appointed head of Mirova Natural Capital Limited, based in London. Vincent has 18 years’ experience investing across several sectors, regions and instruments, focusing primarily on innovative solutions. He previously served at AXA Investment Managers as Head of Impact and Thematic Investing. In particular, he initiated AXA's entry into the impact investing space in 2013 and had primary responsibility, managing the entire investment program. Vincent Gradt also gained on the ground operational experience in Emerging Markets. Since 2017, he has worked with multiple impact funds, NGOs and venture philanthropic organizations to structure their programs, source, execute and monitor their positions in the field. He is a CFA Charter holder and is graduated from the ESSEC Business School.

Created initially in partnership with Rabobank it will provide guarantees and subordinated loans to ‘partner-banks’, it will support propositions that actively prevent deforestation; stimulate reforestation; contribute to efficient sustainable agricultural production; reduce carbon emissions and improve rural livelihoods.
