Gender Equality Index – The Natixis Investment Managers Economic and Social Unity Scores 86 Points Out of 100

In accordance with the provisions of France’s Avenir Act, designed to close the pay gap between men and women, and the Rixain Act, for faster improvements in economic and professional equality, the Natixis Investment Managers Economic and Social Unit (UES) (made up of Natixis Investment Managers, Natixis Investment Managers International, Ostrum Asset Management, Natixis TradEx Solutions, Mirova and Seeyond) has published the results of its index on gender equality in the workplace, as described in articles L.1142-7 et seq. and D.1142-2 et seq. of the Labor Code.

Based on five indicators and calculated out of a possible 100 points, this index measures a range of information every year, concerning gender equality in the workplace.

Companies scoring less than 75 points out of 100 are required to set out and implement corrective measures in order to improve their score for the indicators concerned.

In 2021, the Natixis Investment Managers UES obtained an overall score of 86 points out of 100, as detailed below:

• pay gaps: 36 points / 40
• individual pay rises: 20 points / 20
• promotions: 15 points / 15
• percentage of women receiving a pay rise on their return from maternity leave: 15 points / 15
• number of employees of the under-represented sex among the company’s ten highest paid employees: 0 point / 10

Through its gender equality policy, the Natixis Investment Managers UES is aiming for a better gender balance in its workforce and business areas, as well as in positions of responsibility. It is also seeking to maintain a strong balance in career development and equal pay for men and women, with particular emphasis on parenthood.
