Tracey Flaherty is Senior Vice President, Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion and Public Affairs with responsibility for advocacy efforts and the tracking of policy issues that affect Natixis Investment Managers' overall business as well as defining and coordinating corporate responses to new legislation. In her capacity as Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion, Ms. Flaherty directs the firm’s strategic D&I efforts designed to create a work environment that promotes diversity in all its forms to build equal opportunities for Natixis Investment Managers’ employees and better outcomes for its clients.
Prior to joining the company in July 2008, Ms. Flaherty was a marketing executive for the small business and mass affluent segments at Bank of America and served as managing director for consumer products at Fleet Boston Financial. Ms. Flaherty was also with Fidelity Investments for 19 years in several senior roles, including managing Fidelity’s online brokerage and 401(k) Rollover and Employee Stock Plan businesses.
Ms. Flaherty represents Natixis Investment Managers as an Advisory Committee member on the G7 Investor Leadership Network. Ms. Flaherty also participates in the oversight of periodic Natixis Investment Managers investor surveys to identify new issues and trends in consumer and advisor behavior, particularly policy issues and special challenges that impact retirement investors. She has been featured in interviews and provided information for a variety of publications, including Barron’s, MSN Money, Yahoo! Finance, Wealth Adviser and SmartMoney.
Ms. Flaherty is a founder and co-chair of the Women’s Executive Council at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. She is a board member of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Ms. Flaherty was appointed by Boston’s Mayor Martin Walsh to the Boston Private Industry Council, Boston's Workforce Development Board. She is a member of the Massachusetts Women’s Forum. She received her BA in English from the University of South Carolina.
