What is a Cookie?
- to provide us with anonymous usage statistics about how and when pages of our Sites are visited
- to identify and remember our visitors’ preferences, if the visitor has indicated s/he would like us to do so
- to comply with applicable laws and regulations
- to ensure that our Sites are working properly
- to promote our content on third party websites
- only if we already have a pre-established business relationship with you, and are thereby already processing your personal data for another purpose, then in limited circumstances (e.g., if you reach the Site via a click-through link contained in a marketing communication from us, or posted within one of our corporate social media accounts), cookies would be used to carry out profiling activities through the monitoring of your activity while on the Site (the pages you visit within the Site, the documents you download, and other information collected through your navigation) with the purpose of better customizing our future business interactions with you.
The table below lists each cookie we may use on our Site(s) from time to time, identifies each cookie by category and type, and provides a brief explanation of each cookie's purpose:
Essential Cookies are necessary for the Site to function. They are usually only set in response to actions taken by the visitor. The visitor can set his or her browser to block or alert him or her about these cookies, but doing so may impede the functionality of some parts of the Site.
|These cookies are activated in circumstances where a Site requires a visitor to take a specific action in response to a Site prompt to indicate his or her acknowledgment or consent. These cookies allow us to remember a visitor’s response for a set period of time if the visitor also selects the "remember me" option within the Site prompt.|
|request_accept_lang||This cookie allows us to track an individual visitor's language preferences.|
|Category: Tailored Content
Tailored Content cookies allow us to display content relevant to an individual visitor and his or her interests based on any pre-existing relationship we might have with such visitor as well as the way in which the visitor has used our Site previously.
Analytical/Performance cookies allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors to our Site and to see how visitors move around our Site when they are using it. This helps us to improve the way our Site works by, e.g., ensuring that visitors are finding what they are looking for easily.
|These cookies are set by Google Analytics and are used to collect information about how visitors use the Sites, such as how visitors reach our Sites and the paths they take through the Sites, whether visitors come back to our Sites, and what their preferences are. This information is compiled to help inform enhancements and make improvements to our Sites. To read more about this third party cookie, including the provider's privacy statement, please visit www.google.com/analytics. If the "CRM Visitor" cookie is also active, and if we already process certain other categories of the visitor’s personal data for other purposes, this anonymous statistical information about such visitor’s usage of the Site may be associated with these other categories of his or her personal data, and such statistical information would no longer be anonymous.|
|visitor_||This cookie is set by Pardot, a third party marketing automation tool, and is used to collect information about how visitors use the Sites, such as page view activity and impression time, in order to help us better monitor the success of our Sites. This information is compiled to help inform enhancements and make improvements to our Sites. To read more about this third party cookie, including the provider’s privacy statement, please visit http://help.pardot.com/customer/portal/articles/2125776-pardot-cookies-overview.
|CRM Visitor||This cookie is used to collect information about individual visitors who have separately received and engaged with certain types of marketing materials in order to arrive at the Site. This cookie causes the otherwise anonymous statistical usage data collected via our other cookie(s) described above to be directly associated with the specific individual recipient of such marketing materials. The data collected includes information about pages viewed, impressions, time spent, and whether this is a returning visitor and will be associated with other personally identifying information about you that is already being lawfully processed by Natixis Investment Managers.|
|ngam_visited_funds||This cookie allows us to track which particular product information an individual visitor has recently viewed. In the event the relevant Site is visited again on the same device, this cookie then enables us to create a more customized experience for the visitor based on the product information viewed in previous sessions.|
Some internet browsers have incorporated "Do Not Track" features. Most of these features, when turned on, send a signal or preference (the "DNT Signal") to the websites you visit, indicating that you do not wish to be tracked. Because there is not yet a common understanding of how to interpret DNT Signals, nor a common definition of "tracking", we do not currently respond to DNT Signals on the Sites (unless prohibited under applicable local laws and regulations currently in effect).
