As Chief Executive Officer, Léa Dunand-Chatellet leads Mirova’s strategy and development, overseeing the firm’s investment, business development and operational activities. She is responsible for advancing Mirova’s mission and long-term ambitions, while positioning the firm to meet the evolving needs of clients and the rapidly changing sustainable investment landscape.
As Chair of Mirova’s Executive Committee, Léa drives the firm’s strategic direction and transformation, drawing on more than twenty years of experience in sustainable finance, responsible investment and ESG integration.
Léa joined Mirova in 2026 after serving as Head of Responsible Investment and ESG Portfolio Manager at DNCA Finance. In this role, she built and led the firm’s responsible investment platform and launched its first range of sustainability-focused investment strategies. Prior to joining DNCA Finance in 2018, Léa spent three years at Mirova as Head of Equities, overseeing listed equity investment activities.
She began her career in 2005 as an ESG analyst at Oddo Securities before joining Sycomore Asset Management, where she led ESG management activities and helped develop one of the pioneering sustainability integration models in the French asset management industry.
Léa is actively involved in several leading sustainable finance initiatives. Since 2022, she has been a member of the AMF’s Climate and Sustainable Finance Commission. She also serves as Chair of the French Asset Management Association’s (AFG) Responsible Investment Commission and has been a member of France’s ISR Label Committee since 2024.
Committed to advancing responsible investment practices and thought leadership, Léa regularly teaches dedicated sustainable investment programs at leading business schools and is co-author of the reference publication ISR et Finance Responsable, first published in 2014 and updated in 2022.
Léa is a graduate of the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) and holds the French Agrégation in Economics and Management.
