Michael Tian is a Portfolio Manager and Business Analyst with WCM Investment Management. His primary responsibilities are portfolio management and equity research for the firm’s global fundamental growth strategies. Prior to joining WCM in 2012, Mr. Tian served as senior equity analyst and equity strategist at Morningstar, Inc., where he helped to develop Morningstar’s economic moat trend methodology. He also managed the Morningstar Opportunistic Investor, a portfolio and newsletter focusing on growth companies. Mr. Tian holds a BS in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a CFA® charterholder.
