Mabrouk has a PhD in economics from the University of Paris-Dauphine (defended in 2010) and holds two Master’s degrees, the first in statistical modelling from ENSAE (École Nationale de la Statistique) and the second in quantitative macroeconomics from the University of Paris-Sorbonne. Previously, he was head of research and strategy at BFT-IM (a subsidiary of the Amundi group), and before that a principal economist at IHS-Markit and an econometrician at the Banque de France. Mabrouk is also a lecturer in time series econometrics at the University of Paris Dauphine and at the Ecole Centrale de Paris.
