Michael Gladchun is an associate portfolio manager on the Relative Return Team at Loomis, Sayles & Company, where he helps oversee the core plus fixed income strategy. Additionally, he is a co-portfolio manager for the Loomis Sayles active US Treasury strategies. Michael has been a co-leader of the US Yield Curve Sector Team since 2014. He joined Loomis Sayles in 2004 as a global settlements administrator and joined the trading desk in 2006. Michael was promoted to director of US rates trading in 2020 and joined the Relative Return Team in 2021 as a senior strategist, responsible for macro positioning, portfolio structure and sector allocation. Prior to Loomis Sayles, he was a bank specialist for the international trade support team at Putnam Investments. Michael earned a BA from the University of Vermont and an MBA from Boston University.
