Frankfurt, 21 July 2023 – Natixis Investment Managers (Natixis IM) today announces the promotion of Patrick Sobotta to Regional Head of Germany, Austria and Central & Eastern Europe. Sobotta is also promoted to Executive Managing Director and will be responsible for the retail, wholesale and institutional activities within those regions. He will also be appointed to the Business Development Committee. He reports to Fabrice Chemouny, Executive Vice President and Head of International Sales at Natixis Investment Managers.

With Patrick Sobotta's promotion, Natixis IM, which offers its clients a wide range of diversified investment philosophies and strategies through its more than 15 investment management affiliates, will continue to expand its business in the region over the long term. Sobotta‘s first new hire will be Erik Crawford who has more than 20 years of industry experience and will join as Senior Sales Director covering Institutional clients in August.

Sobotta has more than 15 years of experience in the distribution of investment solutions. Before joining Natixis IM in 2016, he was a Senior Sales Director at Amundi, responsible for both wholesale and institutional clients in Germany. At Natixis IM, his responsibilities gradually expanded from wholesale sales for Germany to responsibility for Austria and most recently for the entire Central and Eastern European region.

Erik Crawford joins Natixis IM from Nuveen Asset Management where he was most recently Director, Global Client Group. Prior to this he worked at PIMCO covering institutional clients. He has also held positions with HQ Trust and Mercer in Germany.
