Julien Petit began his career as an interest rate derivatives traders at Crédit Agricole Indosuez in 2001, then in 2002 he became a proprietary credit trader in the structured credit team at Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (formerly Calyon). He then joined the Covered Bond & SSA brokerage team at Aurel BGC, where he spent a year and a half.
Julien joined Natixis SA (Paris) in 2011 as a market maker on euro financials, with a focus on peripheral issuers and subordinated debt across Europe. He became Head of the High Yield trading desk in 2015.
In 2017, Julien joined the Ostrum Asset Management (previously Natixis AM) Credit team as a credit portfolio manager.
Julien Petit is a graduate of IAE AIX (Aix Marseille Graduate School of Management), and holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Paris IX – Dauphine.
