Amy Crotty is a Vice President of the firm in AEW's Private Equity Group, where she currently serves as the Head of Fund Operations for the AEW Essential Housing Fund and AEW Value Investors U.S. Fund. In this capacity, she is responsible for overseeing the accounting and reporting functions for the funds.
Amy works closely with the portfolio managers in preparing quarterly and annual client reports; preparing the annual portfolio business plans; and forecasting investment and portfolio performance. She also works with the firm’s asset management personnel on the operations and valuation of existing investments and with the acquisition personnel on the analysis of new investments.
Amy has 16 years of experience in the real estate industry. With a background in accounting, Amy has also worked as an asset manager and as a fund manager with six of those years being in the affordable housing sector. Amy began her career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She is a graduate of Bentley University (MSA) and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
