Vauban Infrastructure Partners (“Vauban”), an infrastructure asset manager announces the appointment of Christoph Bruguier to the newly created position of Chief Investment Officer (“CIO”). Christoph Bruguier will join the Vauban's Executive Committee.

This appointment comes in the context of sustained growth in the company's assets under management over the past few years. Since joining Vauban Infrastructure Partners in 2019 as Senior Investment Director and Partner, Christoph has been pivotal in various functions throughout the investment lifecycle. This encompasses deal sourcing, negotiations, deal structuring, and asset management. On the asset management side, he has played a central role in managing existing assets and newly acquired ones across multiple sectors including digital infrastructure, energy transition infrastructure, mobility, and social infrastructure. With a strong emphasis on value creation, Christoph's contributions have been significant. These include optimizing yield profiles through refinancings, facilitating capital expenditures for asset development, implementing operational enhancements, and developing platforms to leverage synergies. Christoph's demonstrated business acumen and close collaboration with the investment team and portfolio companies underscore his invaluable role at Vauban.

Christoph spent the first part of his career at the investment bank HSBC, holding various positions between Paris, New York, and Tokyo for 22 years. During this time, he was involved in originating, structuring, and executing infrastructure transactions, capital markets deals, complex restructurings, and structured financings. Before assuming his role as Senior Investment Director and Partner at Vauban Infrastructure Partners in 2019, Christoph had previously served at Infravia Capital Partners.
