Tracey Flaherty is Senior Vice President, Government Relations with responsibility for tracking legislative and policy issues that affect Natixis Investment Managers' overall business as well as defining and coordinating corporate responses to new legislation. Ms. Flaherty also serves as Senior Vice President of Retirement Strategy where she provides direction for the retirement business and marketing program development.
Prior to joining the company in July 2008, Ms. Flaherty was a marketing executive for the small business and mass affluent segments at Bank of America and served as managing director for consumer products at Fleet Boston Financial. Ms. Flaherty was also with Fidelity Investments for 19 years in several senior roles, including managing Fidelity’s online brokerage and 401(k) Rollover and Employee Stock Plan businesses.
Ms. Flaherty participates in the oversight of periodic Natixis Investment Managers investor surveys to identify new issues and trends in consumer and advisor behavior, particularly policy issues and special challenges that impact retirement investors. She has been featured in interviews and provided information for a variety of publications, including Barron’s, MSN Money, Yahoo! Finance, Wealth Adviser and SmartMoney. Ms. Flaherty is currently the host of Policy and Politics, a podcast show.
Ms. Flaherty is a founder and co-chair of the Women’s Executive Council at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. She is also a board member of the Massachusetts Business Roundtable and the Boston Asset Management Association. In addition, Ms. Flaherty was appointed to the Boston Private Industry Council, Boston's Workforce Development Board. She received her BA in English from the University of South Carolina.
