Susan Olson is Vice President – Government Relations at Natixis Investment Managers. Located in Washington, DC, she serves as point person for the firm, and helps the firm maintain awareness of the regulatory environment, as well as legislative issues and initiatives. From 2005 to 2015, she served as Managing Regional Director, IAG Mid-Atlantic on the National Sales Team for Natixis Investment Managers – US Distribution. Prior to joining the firm in 2005, she was vice president and regional manager at AIG SunAmerica Mutual Funds. She started in the financial services industry with UBS/PaineWebber in 1995.
Ms. Olson received her BA in international business with a minor in Spanish from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is a board member of OAR, a restorative justice organization helping people acclimate to life after incarceration. She served as board chair from 2016 to 2019. Ms. Olson also serves as an adoption coordinator for Homeward Trails, an animal rescue shelter.
