Kevin Kearns is a Vice President, Portfolio Manager, and Senior Derivatives Strategist with the Loomis, Sayles & Company fixed income group. He manages credit and absolute return institutional portfolios and is also responsible for leading the firm’s efforts in the development and implementation of investment strategies that incorporate credit default swaps (CDS) and other related derivative instruments.
Mr. Kearns joined Loomis Sayles in 2007. He has 30 years of investment industry experience. Prior to joining Loomis Sayles, Mr. Kearns was the director of derivatives, quantitative analysis and risk management at Boldwater Capital. Prior to that, he spent 14 years with Fleet Boston as a managing director for credit derivatives.
Mr. Kearns earned a degree in physics from Bridgewater State College and an MBA from Bryant College.
