Frankfurt, 15 April 2024 – Natixis Investment Managers (Natixis IM) is strengthening its Frankfurt-based sales team by appointing Bernd Vogel as Head of Insurance for Central and Eastern Europe. Bernd Vogel is the sixth new addition to the team at Natixis IM, which, through its unique model, is able to offer clients a wide range of different, complementary investment philosophies and strategies through its more than 15 partner investment managers.

In his new role, Mr Vogel will be reponsible for developing the strategy to grow Natixis IM’s client base with insurers across Central and Eastern Europe. He will report to Patrick Sobotta, Executive Managing Director and Head of Central and Eastern Europe at Natixis Investment Managers.

Bernd Vogel has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, including 10 years in sales at asset managers including, Columbia Threadneedle, Amundi and Jupiter. He joins Natixis IM from Alliance Bernstein, where he was responsible for institutional clients, with a focus on insurance companies and pension funds.

Vogel completed a banking apprenticeship at Volksbank Paderborn and a dual degree in business administration at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hanover.
