Vauban Infrastructure Partners continues to build on the firm’s strong momentum and is pleased to announce the hiring of six experts over the last 6 months in order to bolster its team and support the company’s growing operations.

Gwen Colin joins Vauban, as an ESG Director. The ESG team is now structured around Gwen Colin, who joins Rothman Valencia Mazola, to reinforce the company’s leadership in sustainability promotion and to ensure the oversight of the Vauban’s sustainability engagements. The Investment Team remains highly involved in the ESG values promotions on the respective portfolio companies’ level being accountable for sustainability analysis and enhancing sustainable value creation at the portfolio assets level. Gwen used to work closely with Vauban’s team in a frame of her previous position consulting Vauban in creating its ESG methodology. She is based in the headquarters of Vauban in Paris.

The organization of the company is also reinforced with the appointment of Laurent Verlet as HR Director. Laurent, being based in Paris, will head HR function of Vauban supporting the company’s growing staff.

Additionally, Vauban has recently welcomed Fabian Sires to lead Luxembourg Governance and Operations Development. Fabian is based in the company’s office in Luxembourg.

Finally, Vauban is pleased to announce the arrival of Grégoire Max as Compliance Officer, Lois Bourbon as Legal Counsel, and Pierre Ollivier, as Investor Relations Associate. All are based in Paris.

Based in Paris with a subsidiary in Luxembourg, Vauban’s team now totals 56 employees managing currently €6.5bn of assets under management invested in the diversified portfolio of assets across Europe.

Biographies:
Gwen Collin was previously a consultant for PE/Infra funds looking to develop their sustainable projects in Europe and Asia. She has been managing projects on topics like impact management, climate change and sustainable finance more broadly. Gwen has done most of her career with some major financial corporations. She started her career as a legal advisor, then project manager, at Credit Agricole Asset Management (now Amundi) in Paris and Luxembourg. Her involvement in sustainable finance started in 2008, leading the product innovation and supporting the distribution of a Socially Responsible Investments offer targeting the Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian sovereign entities, institutional clients, private banks and family offices. Gwen graduated with a Master in Business Law and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Bretagne Occidentale in France. She has a certification in Islamic Finance from the Security Investment Institute of London

Laurent Verlet held from 2010 to 2021 different human resources positions at Natixis Investment Managers, Private equity Division, closely working with Vauban’s Team and other affiliates. In this role, he led the set¬up HR functions of different affiliates of Natixis IM. Prior to join the Group, Laurent joined in 2000 the HR Department of Auchan Retail-La Défense, as deputy HR Director, after 12 years in this company as manager in mass distribution. He started his career in 1988 as commercial engineer specialized in industrial electricity. Laurent is graduated from a French industrial technology school.

Fabian Sires has joined Vauban in September 2021, based in Luxembourg, he has reinforced our operations team and support Vauban on digitalization transition, operating model improvement and corporate governance best practices to sustain growth.
Fabian has over 20 years experience in the Alternative Funds Industry in Luxembourg working for global corporate services providers (PWC, TMF and Alter Domus). He was responsible for a portfolio of Private Equity clients (set-up of Luxembourg structures, accounting, tax and corporate legal services for SPVs/Funds under management).
Before joining Vauban Infrastructure Partners, Fabian was Director at Alter Domus, responsible for the operational enhancement of governance and corporate legal services, including review and/or implementation of processes and tools across several jurisdictions.
Fabian was also sitting on the board of regulated and non-regulated Funds for large Private Equity and Infrastructure asset managers (among others Allianz, M&G, Actis).

Loïs Bourbon, Corporate and Regulatory Legal Counsel, has 7 years of experience on corporate M&A & regulatory projects for asset managers.
She works on corporate and regulatory matters of Vauban Infrastructure Partners and its investment funds.
Before joining Vauban Infrastructure Partners, Loïs worked at Lyxor Asset Management in Paris on long term core acquisition projects, diverse legal & regulatory advisory, and general corporate matters. Before that, she worked three years in an advisory firm in Luxembourg where she built an experience in M&A-corporate set ups for various international private equity firms.
She holds a master's degree in Business Law (DJCE) of Université Toulouse Capitole.

Grégoire Max holds after 6 years of experience in compliance, regulatory and internal control. Previously, he was a senior consultant in a firm specialized in compliance and internal control for asset management companies. He was mainly involved with players investing in non-listed assets. He holds a Masters in Business Law of Université Toulouse Capitole.
With 4 years of experience in Fundraising and Investment Banking, Pierre Ollivier is responsible for managing the day-to-day aspects of investor relations and fundraising processes. It includes responding to investors requests, producing marketing and reporting documents as well as taking part in communications efforts. Before joining Vauban Pierre was Fundraising Associate at Jasmin Capital, prior to that he was M&A Analyst at Edmond de Rothschild. Pierre holds a Masters degree from Emlyon Business School (based in France) and completed an exchange semester at the University of Saint-Gallen (based in Switzerland).
