In July, InvestHedge, the provider of fund of hedge fund news, analysis, data, and events, announced the InvestHedge Hall of Fame, which was created to recognise the innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment acumen of allocators to hedge funds, as well as the contribution they have made to the development of the hedge fund industry over the years. Roxanne Martino, Founder and CEO of Aurora Investment Management, has been named as one of the eight inaugural members.
Also in July, Roxanne was named as one of The Hedge Fund Journal's "50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds." This bi-annual survey emphasises the role of women in senior managerial, executive, and investment management positions in the hedge fund industry. The nominations were drawn from industry networks, including prime brokers, banks, lawyers, accountants, administrators, custodians, fund allocators, trade associations, and professional associations. In an industry with over 10,000 funds and hundreds of service providers, it is an honour for Roxanne, with 30+ years in the industry, to be included on this list.
