AEW announces the rebranding of its business in Europe. The group is adopting the AEW brand for its institutional business across Europe.

Following the merger with Ciloger in October 2016, the retail fund management business in France will adopt the AEW Ciloger brand.1

AEW2 is a leading real estate investment management platform with more than €60 billion of assets under management across North America, Europe and Asia. The firm was founded in 1981 and has over 35 years’ experience of investing in real estate on behalf of its clients. The use of AEW’s brand reflects the group’s global platform and consistent approach to investing in real estate across all markets and strategies.

Through funds open to the general public, AEW Ciloger3 manages 22 real estate investment trusts (SCPI) and two real estate investment schemes (OPCI) sold to the general public, with assets of more than €5.5 billion; it also supports around 80,000 associates in their property investments.

The management company is among the top three players in managed real estate savings in France and has built up expertise in all business lines of real estate asset management on behalf of third parties. AEW Ciloger distributes its products through three large banking networks - Caisses d’Epargne, Banques Populaires and La Banque Postale - the main insurance platforms and a selection of partner wealth management advisors. AEW Ciloger is a subsidiary of AEW SA. The shareholders of AEW SA are Natixis Global Asset Management (60%) and La Banque Postale (40%).
