Hervé Guez is Global Head of Research and CIO of Equities and Fixed Income for Mirova. Prior to joining Mirova in 2008, he served for 12 years as a financial analyst for CCF-HSBC and HSCB-CACIB. As head of Mirova’s Responsible Investment research team, he developed the philosophy and methodology now used by the firm’s SRI analysts. Hervé’s work informs the integration of ESG criteria for Mirova and serves as the basis for the investment strategies pursued by Mirova’s actively managed, sustainability-themed funds in the realms of equities, fixed income, and infrastructure. In partnership with the University of Cambridge, Mirova’s research team regularly publish studies that address issues of sustainability and their investment implications.
Hervé serves on the board of the French SIF (Social Investment Forum), and represents Mirova within the UNEP Finance Initiative, the PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment), Eurosif (European Sustainable Investment Forum) and the SRI commission of the AFG. He holds a master’s degree in banking and finance (DESS Banque-Finance), holds the SFAF diploma and is a Certified International Investment Analyst® (CIIA®).
