Gwenola Chambon, Managing Partner and Founding Partner of Vauban Infrastructure Partners, has been responsible for managing the infrastructure Investment Team of Mirova as well as its infrastructure investment and capital raising activities.

Throughout her 24-year career, Gwenola has developed an extensive knowledge of the European infrastructure sector and has years of experience financing and investing in infrastructure assets. She has worked on a number of landmark transactions, including the first PPP project in Belgium in 2000 and the landmark transaction of the Dutch PFI the Hague waste water project, in 2003, as well as the SKY NET PFI with the UK MOD in 2003.

She has worked as an advisor on many concession and privatisation projects in France, Italy and Spain over the years and then transitioned into private equity investments.

Prior to joining Natixis (Mirova) in 2010 she spent two years within the infrastructure fund Galaxy. Before that Gwenola was Head of European infrastructure at CFIG, and prior to that she was a senior member of the project finance team at BNP Paribas. Since she joined Natixis (Mirova) she worked on most of the major PPP projects procured in France (the Ministry of Defense, the HSL PPP of Ocvia, etc.).

In 2016, Gwenola raised the first continental Europe brownfield continuation fund. Gwenola is a member of a number of industry groups including the European Commission working group of Experts in Infrastructure, the PRI expert group, the GRESB working group, EFAMA, and the AFG and AFIC working groups for infrastructure. She also represents Natixis Investment Managers on the Institut de la Gestion Déléguée lobby group.

Gwenola is an active member of IFA (Institut Français des Administrateurs) and is responsible for project finance courses in ESSEC’s Masters of Complex Financing. Gwenola holds a Master in Business from ESCP.
