Romain Aumond joined Natixis Investment Managers as a senior macroeconomist and quantitative strategist in 2025. Prior to this role, Romain spent four years within the Amundi group, at BFT Investment Managers, in the research and strategy department, developing forecasting and nowcasting models. Romain also spent a year and a half in the Research Directorate of the European Central Bank. He holds a PhD in quantitative economics from the Centre de recherche in économics and statistics (Institut Polytechnique de Paris) and two masters degrees, from the Université Paris-Dauphine in quantitative finance and economics and from the National School of Statistics and Economic Administration (ENSAE).
