Philippe Zaouati began his career by founding Mirova in 2014 within the Natixis Group, an asset management company dedicated to responsible investment serving environmental and social transitions.
After 5 years at the helm of Mirova, he was appointed chairman of the Responsible Investment Commissions of the French Asset Management Association (AFG) and the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA), where he played a key role in the emergence of the sustainable finance theme within several international organizations, including the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN).
Before joining the European Commission's High-Level Expert Group (HLEG) on Sustainable Finance in 2018, Philippe Zaouati co-founded the Finance for Tomorrow initiative (now known as the Institute of Sustainable Finance) in 2016, which he chaired until 2019.
