Kevin Charleston
This centennial is a chance to reflect upon and reaffirm the principles that have guided us since 1926. Our founders’ mission to deliver outstanding investment results for clients through independent, high-conviction analysis remains at the core of our work. From the start, they knew contrarian thinking was our true value proposition—and contrarian thinking begins with an analytical edge.”
– Kevin P. Charleston, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
As investors, we have to train ourselves to remember that risk is always present – it’s just that some days, it seems like it’s not. Therefore, we take a structural, permanent approach to risk mitigation when allocating capital.”
– Aziz Hamzaogullari, Founder, Chief Investment Officer & Portfolio Manager, Growth Equity Strategies Team

At Loomis Sayles, we ensure research is actionable – delivered timely to managers. Our teams must operate before full information is in the price. Achieving optimal uncertainty – enough information to act, not so much that value is gone – is key.”
