Nicolas Hayon is Head of Mirova in Singapore and Investment Director in private assets. Mirova is a conviction-based, B Corp certified management company that offers its clients investment solutions combining the search for financial performance with environmental and social impact, across listed and private asset classes. In Singapore Mirova is set up as a Business division within Natixis Investment Managers Singapore.
Nicolas joined Mirova’s Energy Transition Infrastructure investment team in 2011 and played an active role in its growth within Mirova, from EUR 100m AUM to close to EUR 4bn today. Nicolas has contributed directly to the investment and management of more than EUR 1.1bn of equity into 27 companies. In 2017, Nicolas was promoted to Investment Director and has been a member of the fund’s Investment Committee since.
Nicolas relocated from Paris to Singapore in early 2021 to develop Mirova’s presence in Asia Pacific and establish and lead a team of ten people active across the whole range of business lines of Mirova.
Nicolas also covers the Asia Pacific markets for Mirova’s Energy Transition Infrastructure Funds, and is responsible both for investments and client relationships.
Nicolas started his career with Natixis in the management of the European Carbon Fund, monitoring the portfolio of projects registered under the Clean Development Mechanism of Kyoto Protocol.
Nicolas holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Université Paris I La Sorbonne, as well as Master’s degree in Project and Structured Finance from Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées and University Paris 10 Nanterre.
